Friday’s Free to Dance

This is a new scheme which we are piloting from September 2011.

With funding cuts being made left, right, and centre, we wanted to try and offer something to help dancers and artists that need support with their work.

Albeit a small drop in the ocean it might at least help a few along the way!

So how does it work?

Every 2^nd and 4^th Friday in the month we will offer 2 x 3hr studio slots for free: 11-2pm and 2-5pm.

It will be on a first come first served basis by visiting our Facebook page on the Wednesday (2 days before). The first person to post on our wall after 9am: ‘Friday’s Free to Dance’ followed by the time you’d like, secures the slot.

E.g. Friday’s Free to Dance 11-2pm

We will also make a note of a reserve group for each slot in case of last minute cancellations.

The first Friday will be the 9^th September so make sure you contact us on Wednesday 7^th September.

Who can use it?

This is open to ALL dancers and performers. The only condition is that you use the studio for non-profit purposes and spend the time productively!

How often can you use it?

To try and let everyone have a chance to benefit from this, we are limiting it to one slot per person/group per month. We ask you are fair to all on this and don’t try and sneak in more slots than allowed!

Rules?

We ask you take good care of the studio whilst in your use and leave it as you would expect to find it – clean and tidy!

Please finish 10mins before the end of your slot to allow for a changeover between groups so that everyone is able to start on time.

If you repeatedly run over or regularly cancel the slots you have booked we will disallow you from using the free slots. Please be respectful to others if you want to benefit from this scheme.
